Gillett Sno & ATV Riders Meeting Minutes (3/12/2025)

Club agenda: 

• Introduce new members/visitors – N/A
• Secretary report – Lynn – Motion by Duane G, second Thomas N, approved
• Treasurer’s report – Ali – Motion by Justin G, second Kevin R, approved
• Trail report – Keith/Thomas
  • Trails closed in Feb
  • Somewhere between 55 and 60 hours of grooming. Thomas will get the rest of the hours submitted by the end of the month.
  • Second drag was set up and worked well
  • In the future, if we decide to upgrade should stick to size of the new drag (9.6 wide)

• Oconto County Alliance Meeting
  •  It is likely trail passes and registration will go up.  
  • AWSC is getting low on funds and may raise their dues.  They may also make additional cuts.  This will be voted on soon.  

• Events update –
  • Landowner’s Banquet – March 23rd
    • Romy’s in Kelly Lake – 11:30 cocktails, 1:00 dinner
    •   
  • Bean Bag Tournament – April 26th
    • Brought up concern about having it draft weekend.  No concerns and will continue to have it on the 26th.

• Old business
  • Update on lawsuit
    • John called on Monday to get an update.   They indicated it has to go to the county first and if they deny it, we file papers.  

• New Business
  • Summer Poker Run, should we do this again this year?
    • Brad will print off the stops and will wait on the cover sheet so we can set a date.  Will be added to next month’s agenda.
